Help Post Op diet

Hey everyone,

So I have surgery set for 9/03/2020. I was looking through the packets that my dr and nutritionist sent me home with to make sure I get everything prior. I have already ordered vitamins and I was told not to buy to much before because you don’t know what you will stomach well after. Well after looking at the packets I see where they have a protein goal but not really like a diet plan for me to follow each week. I was hoping for like a breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner type of food plan for the first couple weeks after surgery breakdown of what to eat. They did give me like a list of 4 things I can have each week but I was hoping for something a little more detailed. Did anyone maybe receive this from thier dr and they could maybe email me a pic of it or post the pic on here? My email is Bordelonh44@yahoo.com. Any help is appreciated!!

  • This is in my book, this is for the full liquids phase as soon as you leave the hospital (for my doctor) hopefully this helps you. I had surgery the 20th and just starting full liquids.

Day 8 post-op here. I googled bypass meal schedule and found some I liked. My program did not come with one.
