and now I have to learn how to make pictures SMALLER

I am glad you posted your BEFORE pictures. You will be shrinking before our very eyes. Good job on your W/L so far... keep it up.

Peaches (Banded July07)

You are going to do great!

Being banded in December has got to be the hardest month of all!!!

Does anyone else have the AP Band? I was told that's what I have. No fill yet.

I believe that is the one that I have. My surgeon merely said that I have the newer model (sounds like a car, doesn't it?!). According to him, the only restriction that I have is from the band being in place.

Ok I still son't have any tue before pics of myself but I took this picture today, which is one week post band. Now I have a before picture to at least compare to.

AWWWW!! Thanks!! I know I am blessed for that. Everyone always tells me I look younger than what I am. I guess I got good genes in that aspect!:whoo:

Alright, I finally got a true before and after pic. I am not sure how to make them smaller so bear with me. The before pic was taken at my heaviest and the other pic was taken today by my new computer. I can really tell a difference in my eyes. This is 10 days post band. So here goes nothing!!

wow, you look like a totally different person! You've done really well. I see it in your cheeks too. Plus the hair looks fabulous.

Pictures for the web should be no more than 75 dpi (low resolution)=smaller

a good guide is to keep them at no more than 400 pixels wide. If you have a software to make them smaller you can input the size. Probably the software that comes with your camera, or Photoshop

I began my weight loss journey 11 months ago (Feb 07). These pictures were take of me on June 1 after I had already lost 18 pounds on my own. They were taken at the beginning of a 21-week Optifast diet at Emory Hospital that I enrolled in on my own. I lost 50 pounds on the Optifast plan before I was banded on 12/6/07. I have lost an additional 26 pounds since surgery
