Compression garment after RNY?

I am having a RNY on March 10th. I have a very large diastasis recti from my pregnancies that contributes to back pain.

I will ask my surgeon as well but has anyone else worn a mild compression garment immediately after surgery? If so, is it generally well tolerated?

no. I did after plastic surgery, but not after RNY.

Yes I wore one that they put on me in the hospital post op. It actually helped immensely. It was a binder but pretty much the same thing.
