Full feeling

I went for my 1 week post op and got my staples removed !!! Yeah!! Feel 100% better. My dr. told me I could start having mushy foods. I was able to eat 2 scrambled eggs with cheese. Is that too much for the first time? I didn't have the usual full you get before the band; it was more of a chest painpressure. Is that the full feeling?? Any info would help!!! I have lost 11 lbs!!!!

Hi Kellymoos,

I have found that I never feel the FULL that I felt before banding. I'm training my brain to acknowledge "satisfaction" for being full. Before banding, full to me meant that I had to unbutton my pants. :D That has never happened since I've been banded.

The chest pain and pressure is a spasm of the esophogus, caused by who-knows-what. I get it all the time when I eat too fast.
