Hey everyone,

38 yo from Seattle,WA just got my gastric surgery 11/25 . Liquid diet sucks but making me stronger and going grocery shopping tomorrow to get more food items... Protein shakes,cottage cheese,milk,yogurt,sugar free pudding...Jello makes me sick honestly..

Jello is flavored water - Same advice take your time and puree everything - It is not easy going to the next step

The Shakes are the key and make sure you have all your vitamins and minerals going in also

Hey there! I just had my surgery done at Virginia Mason, in Seattle, on 11/14. I actually had a hysterectomy at the same time! I’m 2 weeks out and doing GREAT. It’s amazing how quickly we can heal! I’m 47 and over here on the peninsula... I hope you’re being well taken care of and feeling strong!
