I have finished all my testing, but...I also have to go to two support groups and lose about 14 lbs before I can meet with the surgeon. The problem is, I actually attempted to go to my first support group about an hour ago when I noticed two people from my past that made me VERY uncomfortable. I saw them, turned around and walked out before they noticed me. I really don't want to travel out of town for the support groups. It may sound crazy but this was a serious set-back for me. I left there crying like a baby (really out of character for me.) I want the surgery around my vacation 12/20/07 but don't know what to do about the group thing???????Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
