optifast issue

i tried one optifast shake (still deciding on surgery but getting closer) and got a monster headache and brain fog for a few hours following :( looking on their site this is normal for after a few days on the optifast program after your body goes into keto, not as a reaction right after drinking one shake! now i’m worried about two weeks of drinking them pre-surgery if i’m reacting to something in them like this. i’ll ask the dietician about it before surgery but wondered if anyone else had a reaction like this?

I agree with the poster above. Maybe the headache was caused by something else and was just coincidental.

Always best to check with your dr though.
