Let’s talk diarrhea.......

For everyone who has had a MGB or RNY, what can I expect as far as diarrhea? I’m sure everyone’s experience has been different. I will be having my sleeve revised to a MGB on 8/1 and really the diarrhea issue I’ve heard about post op is what has me worried! I understand it happens initially post-op....... but is it a forever thing?? Every time you eat you have to run to the bathroom? How does it affect your work life daily? Going out to dinner or to a special event? In my mind this diarrhea is going to be a full time job. Lol. Any thoughts to share?

I had RNY gastric bypass. Right after surgery I experience diarrhea right after I ate. I soon figured out that I had become lactose intolerant so I cut out the lactose and the diarrhea stopped. After a few months this condition went away and I no longer have a problem drinking milk.
