Call your surgeon's answering service. Pain high in your back after surgery is gas, but this far out, that is unlikely. You need to rule out a leak or gallbladder issues.

  • Well I got my gallbladder removed last night ??‍♀️ I’m just glad it’s over with. Apparently it was inflamed and infected whatever that means but they say it’s normal for this to happen since I lost 34

When did you have surgery?

January 19 it’s about a month and a few days for. I weighed 304 and now 270 although I’m not sure if that is good but I haven’t been eating much I find it easier to have soup, protein shake and water. So far chicken and tuna I can’t hold down everything just comes back up. These gas pains just came out of no where last night and I am still in pain.

Oh my I hope everything goes okay for you. Is this gallbladder inflammation part of the surgery or a preexisting condition that flared up ?

I have never had any issues before with my gallbladder until now so that’s weird definitely has to be part of the surgery

Well I got my gallbladder removed last night ??‍♀️ I’m just glad it’s over with. Apparently it was inflamed and infected whatever that means but they say it’s normal for this to happen since I lost 34 pounds in almost 5 weeks. Thank you again @orchids&dragons for the advice I have been ignoring this pain for over a week thinking it was normal simply because I didn’t want to bother or annoy my doctor with stupid questions.

I'm so glad that your ordeal is over. BTW, I'm scheduled to have my gallbladder removed on Wednesday, which is why I recognized your symptoms! Hope you feel awesome soon! Don't worry about annoying your doc! That's what he's here for!

Wow ? I am glad I came on here when I did then. It really does help especially when you have others experiencing the same or going through the same things. Good luck with your gallbladder removal and hope you have a speedy recovery ☺️
