Hard Time With Optifast...help!

Hi!

I have started the Optifast on November 7th and my surgery is on Wednesday November 21st. I can't get through a day without eating more than what I am supposed to. I am not doing bad as I am not eating junk food but I am not supposed to eat at all, just Opti. I am so hungry I can't think of anything but food.

Has anyone else had this problem? Can anybody help?

lots of people have/had the same problem. Fortunately, my doc only required a liquid diet for 7 days prior to surgery. My friend, who goes to the same doc, complained to him about it and he told her not to worry about it! Dang was I mad! lol! Perhaps you should call the surgeons office and let them know what a difficult time you are having. Perhaps they'll modify it a little for you.

If not, hang in there and start over with new resolve. Keep busy and pray the time passes quickly
