  • It took about 5 or 6 weeks for me to go from consultation to surgery. I had to get a psych eval, stress test, nutrition seminar, and a 10 day liver shrink diet before surgery. My BMI was same as yours

  • Just noticed you're in Alabama. I got my surgery done at Brookwood in Birmingham, by Dr. Cameron Askew, just FYI.

  • Thank you! Do you mind if ask how much Dr. Askew's self pay was? And also, were the psych eval and stress included in the price?

Total cost was about $12,500. My stress test was covered by insurance, I just had a $10 copay. My psych evaluation was $150. The nutrition seminar was $30.
