Nausea and dehydration

Has anyone else dealt with major nausea? I am one week today post op and have had to go to hospital twice now for fluids because of the nausea. Yesterday was horrible as I couldn’t even take a sip of water without vomiting. After the hospital yesterday my nausea meds were changed to phenergan over the Zofran and it has helped some. I received two or three bags of fluids yesterday (really disoriented I forget for sure) and was able to drink a whole g2 today. I still cannot get down any of the protein shakes. I even tried watering them down a bit thinking perhaps the consistency was to much for this angry temperamental belly. I see all these people doing so much better that I am wondering if I am alone that perhaps I did something wrong.
