Pre op and traveling!!?

Has anyone been on thier pre op diet while traveling? I didn't have room to take my binder of info and I drew a blank on what and how much to drink and eat. So I'm just doing one meal per day protein drinks the rest and water. I'm in day 4, my son's bday is tomorrow and my family reunion this weekend... Uggghh!! No bday cake for me.

I traveled, but I am on shakes only no food until the day before clear liquid so it was easy for me.

Good Luck!

I am traveling for work during the two week prep diet. My doctors office puts you on a low carb high protien 900 calorie diet of pre packaged foods. I just needed to make sure I had a fridge and microwave to survive. I'm realizing how much of my night when traveling is based on shopping, eating and drinking. I dont want to shop because I hope to be wearing smaller sizes soon, cant eat out or drink. I'm bored to death lol

@mimidi Just curious, but does your doctor's office sell you those pre-packaged foods? What do you mean by "food" during your pre-op liquid period? Is your pre-op diet one week, 10 days, or two weeks?

It's two weeks but not liquid. They have an outlet bv to get vfc the foods but they are name brand stuff. Protien bars, drinks, dinners from health wise brand. They gave us al list to pick from. the diet consists of: one breakfast item like oatmeal, protien bar, a soup for lunch, afternoon protien drink, packaged dinner and one more snack. It is pre packaged so they can control the portions and protien intake.

Sorry should have proofread this! Yes we can buy the foods there, but bv they are all available online through other sources. I bought several on amazon prior to now.

So my doctors programs preop diet is zero starches for 3 weeks ive decided to do 6 I started the moment I left my final appointment. But I’m sitting on my couch about to chow into some chilly cow ice cream which is 100% on plan and I’m excited for my dinner I’m throwing my hat in the ring to attempt cloud bread and make a burger
