Iron Saturation Dropping?

I had my pre op labs drawn in april (super early bc im inpatient) and my iron saturation was "low" at 12% no big deal, started taking the iron +vit c barimelts to get in a good routine for post op.

Went last week to get redrawn and low and behold my iron saturation dropped to 8%? Everything else comes back "normal".

Should I be worried? Anyone else have this pro orpost op?
