I think my browser has a virus because I cant look anyhing up on my PC. But I can look up sites on my favorites. So I thought I would ask some of you guys since you may know. I have been having pain where my Gal bladder is. Should I be concerned about that? Sometimes it gets hard to breath when its really hurting. I am not sure what the symptoms of gal stones or a bad gal bladder are and I cant look them up. Can gal stones come on then stop hurting or does it just get worse? I know some banded people have trouble with thier Gal Bladders after surgery. If I press on that area it hurts also. Any info would help Thx alot.

I had my gall bladder removed last summer after over 2 years worth of attacks. They can get worse as the stones grow or more develop. My attacks were to the point where they would last anywhere from 5-8 hours a night, I would vomit, and ANYTHING that I ate would trigger an attack regardless of the fat content.

I would suggest that you see your doctor, which will refer you to a GI doctor and/or for a sonogram. It is really important to take care of it since more serious problems can arise and it is just so darn painful and unpleasant!

Depending on the size and quantity of gall stones, there are some homeopathic flushes that you can drink in order to soften and pass the stones. Conventional doctors frown upon them as there is a possibility of the stones getting caught in the bile duct, leading to further problems, and that the underlying cause of the attacks is not treated. In addition, most doctors will recommend removing the gall bladder when there are stones and active attacks because they deem the gall bladder to be diseased, hence the gall stones.

In the mean time, you can alleviate some of the symptoms with Advil, (try not to abuse it like I did...I was taking 8 a night through out that time and wound up with gastritis) a heating pad, peppermint tea, hot showers, and walking around.

Just remembered: If you are already banded, you should probably avoid taking Advil along with any other NSAID. Definately see your doctor though.

SYMPTOMS OF GALLBLADDER PROBLEMS

People can go for years with digestive symptoms and never realize that they may be related to a gallbladder problem. That's because they are so inter-related with other digestive symptoms. Constipation is one of the most commonly missed ones. The list provided here may be related to gallbladder but bear in mind that it could also be something else. The first four mentioned I feel are most indicative of gallbladder issues. Some also liken the pain to that of a heart attack...anyway that it is described, it still frickin' sucks!

I had my gallbladder removed yesterday. I had been having problems for just over a month. It really came down to having the surgery at my convenience or possibly winding up in the emergency room. It was also interferring with my ability to exercise. The surgery was similar to lapband and was performed by my lapband doctor. So far it has not been as painful as the lapband recovery. I'm glad to be done with it.

I have been having some of these symptoms for a while now and after I had my upper GI I they told me they thought my symptoms sounded like Gal bladder and ofcourse an upper GI couldnt help that. Meanwhile a migrain started to brew which I get from time to time but this one started only on the right side of my head. Eventually it got to where I couldnt stand it anymore. I can handle the pain on my shoulder blade and down my arms but I dont do well it up my neck and in my head. So I told my hubby I was going to go get something for the pain from the doctors and he was fine with that. They gave me some narcs and whatever for pain and I also had a fever. They also said we think its your Gal Bladder. So they schedualed me an ultra sound. I called my hubby to let him know and he got pissed off. Hes so mad at me because I just had an upper GI. I tried to explain that this was different but he just told me to get my shit and get home. So I had to call one of my girlfriends to come pick me up. Anyway my hubby is still mad at me and I feel like I am going to have to just shut up about the pain and deal with it because he says I am not aloud to have the ultra sound. So I guess I will just have to wait and see if this really is my Gal Bladder by riding it out. I just dont understand my husband somedays.

My Symtoms are:

Occassional pain in Gal Bladder area but not always

Alot of pain in my shouldblade and back area and back it can come and go

Alot of pain shooting down my arm can come and go also

My throat feels like its swelling shut (My theory on that is gas is getting stuck and putting pressure there because I been burping alot)

Low Grade Fever that comes and goes also as far as I can tell.

My poo looks weird

Right now I feel ok just a slight burning in the shoulderblade area. But honestly I just dont know what to do about this whole thing. My husband can get mean some days. People go a long time with having Gal Bladder issues so maybe I can wait until the end of the year. my husband needs a surgery also that hes been holding off and until January when we can afford it so I think he thinks I am interferring with him and thats why hes mad. IDK input would be great thx.

I have been having lighter colored stools for a while, but not sure if that is because of what Im eating or if something is going wrong with the gall bladder or something else.

I dont seem to have any problems or concerns...just lighter colored stools and occasional what seems to be like a light case of heartburn or indigestion especially on the left side below my ribs towards the front.

Any one else experience this.....
