Milestones???

Hey Tens,

I was thinking we need a place to share all of our little milestones. Even though my scale does not want to move I had two moments today. The first was that I could not find anything to wear b/c all my day to day clothes were swallowing me, so i found a pair of pants from my smaller years and THEY FIT!!!!! :whoo: Then when I got to work multiple people began to say WOW you're slimming down.

What are your milestones????

that must have been a wonderful feeling. my first milestone was when a girl at work told me she could tell that i had lost weight and she said i look really good.

no one had said anything before...even when i was begging. my dh said that he thinks i lost all 12.whatever pounds in my face ...lol.

Wow, I have a few milestones. I've had a LOT of people tell me they see the weight loss. My clothes are all hanging on me, I'm ready to buy a few new pairs of pants in a smaller size. My bras are loose (bye bye girls!!!). I had a salad last night for dinner and was not hungry afterwards. The list goes on, but I don't have enough coffee in me yet to remember everything!!

My milestone is not being hungry. Finally I am getting used to it. I really went thru a time of thinking that I regret this surgery, how can I eat such small portions and have quality of life. But now that I am allowed to add normal food to the diet, I realize that I can still taste and enjoy everything, just small amounts chewed well. I am not mourning the lost food anymore. I can still go to a restaurant and enjoy the taste of my meal and then bring most of it home so I can enjoy it again (and again and again ...) Anyway, what freedom!
