Hi Everyone, so today it was confirmed that my surgery date is next Thursday May 3rd. I am very nervous and scared especially since I live alone. I do have a ton of support from friends where I live in Florida who are willing to help out during this time and I also have friends who have gone through it too so they are a huge support. My family, especially my mother, does not know about the surgery and I am not telling them for the fact that I know they will either try and talk me out of it or not be supportive. So I’m doing this for me. Well all I’m asking is for some prayers and I know I’m going to rely on support from everyone here on the app so please reach out with some advice. I live in West Palm Beach, FL so if anyone is local it would be nice to have some local support too. Thanks guys!

I just had my surgery yesterday also a florida girl but tampa bay area... congratulations. If it makes you feel better I have been pretty independent getting up and down from bed, dressed myself this morning I think you can do this!
