Quest protein chips

So in IMG_6833.JPGeffort to reach my daily protein goal (80 grams) without having to drink a shake everyday I have been looking for alternative protein sources.

Today I tried a bag of Quest chips in cheddar/sour cream. 21 grams of Protein~130 calories~4 grams of carbs.

I thought they were pretty good. The flavor wasn’t bad and they kinda taste like baked chips that are off brand. ? I would eat them again and they helped with my desire to crunch. I was able to eat the whole bag in 1 sitting so I’m pretty sure they are sliders so I’ll have to watch it. I thought it would make a great on the go snack and the bump in protein (listed as milk isolate and whey) it what I need to meet my goals.

Anyone tried these? Is there any reason they would not make a good replacement for a protein drink besides maybe missing some vitamins and minerals? The chips actually have less calories than my protein shakes.

Yes and that’s my favorite flavor. I have all four. Sour cream and onion, cheddar and sour cream, bbq and salt & vinegar. Healthwise protein chips also makes a good sea salt & vinegar flavor. I love the crunch.

I've got a bag I bought a couple weeks ago and haven't tried yet. Will try to remember to try them tonight!

I love them, but for me they are def. a slippery slope. I'm a chip hound. I love the BBQ the best, but the sour cream and onion, and cheddar sour cream are good too. I haven't had them post surgery. Too askeered. I used to eat a 1/2 bag with a low carb wrap pre-op. Never kept me from losing. But I would absolutley go for them preferentially over real food for snacks.
