I have already had my initial appointment. First appointment with the dietitian is next week. I am hoping for end of September or early October for my bypass.

I had my first consultation the 28th of February and I’ll be having my first support group (required in CT) next week and I’ll have my first referral appointment with a radiology to do some testing (swallowing a chalky substance?) .. it looks like after all the required visits and submission to insurance I’ll be looking at the end of July early Aug. I went through all of this back in 2015 and backed out when submitted to insurance (I got scared out of it) and I regret it because I’ve only struggled even more since then. Definitely following through this time and I’m looking forward to reaching goals with you guys ! [emoji5]

Reduce your portion sizes, give up colas, sugery drinks, cut back on caffeine until. you can give it upI increase your exercise level even if you have to start by more walking, biking or going to,the gym. Can't afford a gym membership? Walk at the mall. Learn all you can about your future procedure, a calm mind is a happy mind. And enjoy your journey. Any questions? Just ask, we're full of experiences and, live to help.[emoji12][emoji173][emoji12]
