Hydroxycut or Phentermine

Has anyone taking hydroxycut or phentermine a couple of months before surgery to help with weight loss? Were you ok for surgery and when did you stop?

I took phentermine for 1 week and stopped a week before my pre op appt to help me make weight my dr wanted me at.. Im getting ready to have surgery next week so its been out of my body for 2 weeks now I didnt want it to affect my surgery recovery.

Sent from my LG-H918 using BariatricPal mobile app

I was on phentermine for quite a while pre-op and was told to stop it 1-2 weeks before surgery (I stopped 12 days before simply because that was when I refilled my daily pill containers).
