Dizzy

Hi All,

I’m new to the forum and new to the lifestyle. I had surgery 5 days ago (1/17/18). Everything seems like it’s going according to plan/expectations but I find myself quite dizzy and haven’t taken any pain relievers today to see if maybe that was the culprit. Now I’m uncomfortable and dizzy. I got my fluids in today so I don’t think I’m dehydrated. Any one else have this/suggestions for a cure?

Thanks!

Is it constant or just when standing / moving? If you have blood pressure meds they may need adjusting. Even without meds I was a bit dizzy at first and still am if standing quickly. For general dizziness motion sickness meds will help like the patch or meclazine (sp?)

Hey hun. I felt a little dizzy after mine as my blood pressure is on the low side at the best of times. It usually sits at 100/70 but it fell to 86/60. Keep your fluids up, get your protein in and walk as often as you can. If in doubt you should definitely speak to your healthcare provider xx
