The D Switch surgery?

I've been hearing alot about this D Switch surgery. I had gastric bypass, and was just wondering what the difference is. When I went to my Dr. It was between the bypass or the sleeve. The switch was not even mentioned. Never heard about it until after my September 18, 2017 surgery. What is the difference?

I know I won’t explain it correctly... this is my surgeons site. This is the information for the traditional duodenal switch.

He also does the single anastomoses duodenal switch too.
