Hormonal imbalance

I am 53 and had my sleeve 9/11/17. I went into menopause at 45 years old. I began having hot flashes, that were mild but they would come and go. Since surgery, even though it's winter now, I am always hot! I get cold when I don't wear heavy cloths and I get hot if I do wear something warmer. I currently weight 170 lbs, and have lost 40 lbs. I now have hot flashes a lot more than before. I used to think my weight loss would help, but it hasn't so far. I have heard of people getting cold after they loose weight, but for some reason, for me it hasn't worked out that way.

Did anyone experience something similar? How did you go about resolving it? Or if anyone knows how to can stop it!!!?

I have my VSG set for Jan 4th and have been wondering how this will effect me too! 51 years old, off HRT for surgery and hope to stay off them. Looking forward to responses you receive.

So far nobody has responded!

I have noticed that the majority of people I know from my support group are younger. That's why I posted here!
