Two days post op

So I’m two days post-op from my gastric bypass. Still in the hospital because I am not able to hold down more than 3 ounces of liquids. I am able to get up and walk around and there is zero pain from the incision sites (I have 5 of them). The only discomfort I am experiencing is from gas. Just today I was finally able to start passing gas and what a relief it was.

I’m home now. 7 days of liquids, diluted protein shakes, 4 ounces every hour and then 1 month of puréed meals. This is going to be tough

Hiya

I am three days post op and they have just moved me to 1/4 strength Apple juice, which feels like a huge step! So yummy!

Glad you are home - guess that means you are keeping the water down?
