Heading into surgery

I am about to check in to surgery and I am scared beyond belief. But I know this is what I must do in order to be healthy and live a long fulfilling life. I'm new to this forum but what tips do y'all have to surviving the first week post? Any favorite shakes? Vitamins? Protein waters?

See y'all on the flip side.

Congratulations! Welcome to the "losers bench"! I hope your surgery and healing goes well. Best shakes in my opinion are Premier chocolate. (must be really cold for me!). I'm not one to comment on vitamins because I don't have any brand that I like more than others. And I don't drink protien water. I tried ISOpure and hated it! Anyway, good luck in your journey and welcome to this forum!!

Thank you for the suggestions! Surgery went well but the pain was excruciating! It was all the gas that they pumped in to me. Nothing touched it. Not dilaudid, not fentanyl, not morphine. Finally oxycodone and some phenergan with a meloxicam worked. I had to make myself walk. Still in pain but i know that I have to get that protein in me! Chocolate sounds good with some of the PB2 powder blended in.
