Make sure you're taking your vitamins and drinking protein shakes that'll help with your energy levels....and the bloating is normally gas from the surgery that will move with walking.

I am 6 days post op . I feel like the area around my incisions are huge. It’s like I have 2 guys and upper gut which is like firm and bloated, and a lower gut that’s just chub from before. It’s unflattering and discouraging. in general I just feel bloated. I think I may be constipated as I hear that is common. But I’m not really sure because 1. I’ve never been constipated before and 2. I haven’t eaten anything solid so I don’t know what I would be moving out. I drank some stool softener in attempts to rid this feeling. Any other tips? And when should I be able to see this bloat go down. Am I expecting too much too soon? I go back to work Monday and I’d like to be past this bloat stage.
