Preperation

How did you guys prepare for this? I don't know if I am doing enough or what should I be doing that you guys think would be helpful?

Give up soda, sugar, and minimize carbs. Lose as much weight as possible before surgery. Hardest part is getting past head hunger and developing new habits. Stick to the 2 week liver shrinking diet to make the surgery as easy on the doctor as possible. Do not give in to the "Just one more time" voice cause there will never be the last time.

Definitely work on getting over any food addictions that you have now. And start exercising if you don't already. I was walking/jogging 45 minutes a day up until the day of surgery, and I think it had a lot to do with my easy recovery.
