4 weeks post op

Today marks the day of my surgery 4 weeks ago, I have been in a dark place due to things going on in personal life, but mainly due to what I've done to my body and worried I'll never get my life back, I think the hardest part at the moment is I'm so down and I can't have a drink or party as I normally would when things get you down!, and the number one depressant ATM is the fact I haven't lost one single Kilo in 3 weeks! I'm trying my hardest to stick to my eating plans only protein! Around 600 cal a day, I struggle as I can only have certain break times at work, I'm drinking about 1.5 litres of water a day I can now keep my vitality tablets down! I see people on here losing so much weight what is going on with me?

I lost 11 kilos post op 5 of those in the first week after surgery now nothing

Nothings wrong with you. Take a deep breath. Its normal for the scale to stop . mine did for 4 weeks. Its so discouraging. But it will move again. Try and up your water though it was 8 weeks till I could hit 2litres and it wasn't consistent. Keep at it.

Thank you

A stall is normal and I think it happens to most of us. My NUTS solution to my stall was 3-4 protein shakes only (for about 100 g) every other day. I think I broke it but I’m following that till I transition to solids next week.
