I have gone to my pre op appts on 9/1 and my bypass surgery is set for September 21st. I am feeling all kinds of emotions. Start my two weeks of liquids on Thursday the 7th. Praying for strength to make it through( what I hear is so hard ) I can't wait for results, weight falling off, most of all to be comfortable in my own skin.

Good luck on your surgery.

The months before, I was a calm as a cucumber. THe week before, my emotions were all over the place. It's a big step, and with big expectations, we are full of anxiety. Hang in there and know it will be here before you know it. Keep us posted after to let us know how you're doing.

Congrats on your coming surgery. Remember to just breath and take it one day at a time!!
