Postponing my surgery.

I Finally got my surgery date set for November 2017 after being in the program for so long, and if you're in Ontario, Canada you know how long it takes. But in Mid July I had a kidney stent placed for a stone I had in the Kidney and it caused a severe kidney infection and inflammation. I ended up in the hospital and 3 surgeries later I am still in so much pain I can barely move to go to work and every other day I end up in the emergency. I feel like my body got a big hit with this infection and is not ready for another surgery it needs time to really heel but I am afraid if I postpone my Nov Surgery they will cancel it for good. I waited too long for it. I don't know if anyone in the GTA has ever postponed their surgery? Do they give you a couple of months? Or just push you for another year?

Hi there. I'm in Ontario and had my surgery at Toronto western in Oct 2017. I'm so sorry to hear about all of your setbacks. I never postponed my surgery, but the people that work there are so nice and understanding. All you can do is ask and then make your decision based on what they say. Good luck to you!
