Could I be dehydrated?!?

I was banded on 10/10/07. Yesterday, I went shopping for about an hour and a half. I drank SOME water while we were shopping but not as much as I should have. Once I returned home though I made sure I stepped up the liquids. Since then, my urine has been dark yellow/almost orange at times. Should I be concerned? My doctor recommends three sips every 15 minutes.:help:

3 sips every 15 minutes ! WOW. I am no Dr. but the darker the urine usually means you need more fluids. Can you drink more Water? If You can I would. I myself have never had a problem with water drinking. I have never heard of 3 sips in 15 minutes. You would never get enough water in a day that way.

( This is just my opinion)

Dark yellow/orange urine is a sure sign that you're not drinking enough Water. My doc told me to sip slowly at first, and then take bigger sips until it became uncomfortable, to know quickly I can drink. Heck, now, I can just about chug-a-lug water as much as I want. Just take it easy, don't take too big of swallows, but you need to be trying to get in at least 64 ozs of water every day.

((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) welcome to bandland!
