What sorts of meals do you have in the hotel as we will be eating at the restaurant here.

Its weird going away first time not weighing food, what can I eat that il be sure ther is no possibility to eat to much lol im nervous! I dont want to feel left out when everyone is eating fun things lol y surgeons plan for me is not low carb its just a baanced diet, but i knw Protein keeps you full.

I'm two weeks behind you but thought a lot about this too. I went to a party last weekend and no one noticed or said anything about me not eating and just drinking my shakes. That was a relief! I was prepared to say "I'm having some food intolerance issues so I'm doing an elimination diet with the help of my doctor."

In terms of restaurant eating, cup of soup/chili, side of cottage cheese? Can you eat those? Eat slowly and chew. Listen to your body and don't drink any liquids. And if anyone says anything you can tell them the truth or always claim you're just recovered from a stomach bug. No one can argue with that! Best of luck! We can do this!! [emoji173]️

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
