My surgery was just scheduled for the end of September, and I immediately had second doubts.
For the past 6 months I have been working toward this surgery and have lost 46 pounds (HW: 317, CW: 271). I've always been big, and I've never been able to lose more than 30-40 pounds and keep it off. But now I'm wondering if I could do lose the rest on my own, but I don't know how realistic or hard that would be. I've also been on Lomaira for the past 2 months, and I can tell a difference in my appetite, which has helped. It's hard to say if that's been the major thing helping or the fact that I've taken getting health more seriously than ever.
So my question to others is.... did you have any doubts? Did you question whether or not you could lose the weight on your own? Was there any information you learned that sealed the deal? I'm just wondering how others handled their anxiety and fears around the surgery. Thank you!
