A week from surgery!

My surgery is next week, and everything seems like it's crashing down... not necessarily in a negative way, but it seems like the nerves have kicked in, I'm feeling unprepared (although there's no reasoning behind why), & I'm scrambling to try my best to make sure I have any & everything I could need for the first 2 weeks post op. SO with that being said, what are everybody's necessities as far as hospital bag, clear liquid diet, and just trying to be comfortable after surgery? Any and all suggestions are welcome!

I'm also aware this topic has been addressed a million times on this site, so pls don't waste your time & mine to tell me 'someone has already asked that' :D

Thank you guys so much! Have a blessed day!

I packed comfy jammies & slippers, a toothbrush & paste, and my phone charger. I brought a couple of protein packs in case I needed them, but really didn't. I slept the first day, and was in/out the second day due to the meds. I had tomato soup and mashed potatoes for when I got home, and purchased a strainer for the soups.

Best of luck to you! You got this!
