Eating habits

Hi everyone, I had my surgery on 6/26 and have lost sixteen pounds. Everytime I swallow anything, it feels like a lump in my throat. When I sit for a meal, I chew and then have to wait like two minutes for it to go through my esophagus. Im still hungry so I eat my remaining two bites three minutes apart. Is this normal?

this happened for me too! I was sleeved on June 20 and that feeling is pretty much gone. Hang in there! I couldn't even eat jello. My surgeon said it's because of the swelling from the procedure. Itll get better in the next week or so ;)
