Surgery tomorrow July 7th!

This pre-op clear liquid diet has been so difficult but I am doing it. I have only had to do 3 days of clear liquids and to me that alone is VERY difficult. I am in awe of those who have to do clear liquids for a longer period. I quit smoking at the same time I started my pre-op diet so it is taking some fierce strength to get through this. I am dreaming of bacon and eggs, lol, and a cigarette.

So I am crossing the border into Mexico tomorrow morning to check into the hospital. I live in San Diego so a self-pay Mexico operation is very convenient.

I am scared. I have done my research but I am still nervous as I have never had internal surgery. Thankfully my wife will be with me. I will be back home on Monday.

I made the decision to have this surgery 3 weeks ago so everything is moving very fast.

I appreciate reading the many posts here. It has helped me learn so much, be positive and not feel alone. Thank you everyone!
