Good Morning,

My name is Elaine and we have started a little support group on Long Island about a year ago. A bunch of us meet that are at different stages in our journey. It is very informal and nice to chat with others that are experiencing the same issues you may be during your journey.

If anyone else from the area will like to join us we will be meeting this Saturday June 3rd at Panera in Garden City 1140 Franklin Ave at 2:30. The group consist of both men and women.

We usually meet up every 3 - 4 months and we just had a tiny meet-up, so maybe in April?

I am sorry I disappeared. It’s been a rough two years for my family. We are all doing better and pray everyone is doing well. I have past my three year anniversary and doing well. Pray everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday. I would like to see if anyone is interested in getting together in the New Year. I like to hear how everyone is doing? So sorry you've had a rough time but glad to hear things are better. So nice to hear from you. I'm doing well. I'm coming up on my 3 year aniversary in December. A couple of ups and downs with the weight loss but still overall very happy with my results and progress. Funny, I was just thinking about our group a couple of weeks ago. I was at the coffee house on Deer Park Ave where we all met up. Hopefully others are still here and doing well. Would love to get together to swap stories and catch up. Have a great holiday!
