Trouble Peeing Post Op

Hi is there anyone else out there that is having trouble peeing? The sensation is there, and I want to go but its so hard to actually do it. Is this a case of the meds I'm on or could it be a bladder infection. I'm getting a little worried.

Some advice would help set me at ease either way.....

Thanks

Christine

If you are not getting in enough Water, that could cause the needing to go, but can't quite go feeling.

A bladder infection will get bad, very quickly when left untreated, you will know soon enough if that's what it really is.

I would try to drink a couple of extra glasses of water and see what happens.

Thanks Chickie.

I'll take your advice and sip a bit more Water down. I can tell you one thing I am enjoying the rest - I was banded on Friday. I'm treating this like a holiday as I haven't had one in over 10 years....

Thanks Christine

Dehydration creeps up on us so quietly when we are newly banded, and not being able to pee is one of the first symptoms.

Make sure you are getting in as much Water as humanly possible.
