7 days out

Hey everyone,

So I'm 7 days out from my RNY. 3 days ago I lost 6.6, the next day I lost 2, and last night I literally only lost ounces. I am obviously still on my liquid phase. Has anyone experienced this? I tend to worry a bit and when the surgeon says it'll drop quickly especially right after surgery when I lose ounces I guess I'm a bit concerned only losing ounces... wondering if this is normal!

Go easy on yourself. It may be easier if you look at it in one week increments. You are 7 days out from surgery and down 8.6 lbs. That would qualify as dropping quickly. You're doing great! Celebrate cuz that's pretty freakin amazing!

if it's bothering you, just weigh once a week rather than daily. But yes - what you're experiencing is normal.
