banded Oct 3

Hey everyone, I am now a banster. My surgery is over. Things went well. My doctor had to repair a very large hernia which I didnt know I had. This is day 2 and I am feeling good. Very sore but other than that I am doing fine. I have experienced left shoulder pain but it isnt that bad. I can't believe it but I am not hungry at all. I think my band is working. everyone keep in touch! Marcy:clap2:

Hi Marcy! I was banded 10/2 and also had a hernia repaired! I didn't even know I had one. I;m also having left shoulder pain and in my left chest area. That's been worse than the incision pains! I'm still walking and taking my meds so hopefully that gas will work it's way out soon. Good luck!

Hi Guys, I had my surgery done on Oct 3. I didn't have any shoulder pain, but I definately had pain in my chest area due to wind/gas. I also have been doing heaps of walking and moving around and it seems to be doing the trick.

I am on regular meds for the next 4-5 days, and am feeling pretty good at the moment.

I am not hungry at all, so I guess my band is doing it's thing.

Rastis100- I was glad to read your post and that you are doing so well. All of these wonderful stories of people getting their band and doing good post op is encouraging since I have my surgery next week.

hi everyone, I am on day 3 after surgery. I experienced left shoulder pain but just a mild case. I started walking 2 hours after surgery. I think it helped because I have only had mild gas pains. I encourage all of you to walk walk walk. Good luck to all.
