I am a Photographer, have been for 15 years. Shooting weddings have killed me for years. I literally feel like I got hit by a truck the next 3 days after!

I am in the process of all the hoop jumping to have my surgery and I am wondering if any photographers out there had surgery and how long it was before you went back into wedding photographer mode?

I am trying to decide when to do my surgery. If a month is going to be long enough for my body to feel good enough for that full of a day. On one hand I will hopefully have a little (or a lot) less weight and won't have to worry so much about my diabetic issues that a full photography day gives me.

I am 286 right now and 5'3-4" (depending on who measures me lol).

Thank you!

Not a photographer but I took 2 weeks off work and when I went back I was exhausted every day. Like come home at 5 and fall asleep. It took about a month and a half before I started feeling normal and started having energy to work out.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
