2 Week Post-Op Appt

Hi Everybody,

I just came back from my 2 week follow up appointment and everything is great. Met with Sue (nurse), got weighed and she checked the incisions. Took all of 5 minutes as I really didn't have any questions.

I told her that I lost most of my restriction a couple of days ago and food is sliding down no problem. I still don't eat a huge portion of food at a sitting, but I do get hungry a few hours after eatting. So she said that if I tolerate the soft foods without any problem, I can get a fill at 4 weeks post-op. Just thought I would let any newbie's like me know this as I had always assumed they would never do a fill before 6 weeks at the SWLC.

So life on the bandster side is great! No regrets so far. I know it will become a bit more challenging again once I am restricted as the chewing of food a gazillion times really comes into play.

I am so glad I did this :whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo:

Hey Lianna, you're a couple weeks ahead of me, so I'll watch what you're up to. Glad all is well and you're feeling optimistic for the future, me too. So all is going with out a hitch!
