Anyone have a problem with Verdigo after surgery?

Not quite vertigo, but lots of dizzy spells and getting lightheaded.

Had to go to the ER a couple of times because of that and other problems.

They said the dizziness was because I was dehydrated. It's a very common sign of being dehydrated. They had to give me IV fluids.

SO, make sure you are getting at least 64 ounces of fluids a day.. it is so important!

I've had dizziness after surgery but not just this surgery. It happens to me after every surgery (I've had 4 in the last 2 years for various reasons) - it takes a few months for to go away, at least for me.

My advice, get up and down slowly, avoid looking up.

If it persist, see a doctor....sorry you are going through this - it is miserable!
