Sleeved on Wednesday! Normal pains?

Hi Everyone!! I was sleeved 2 days ago! Everything went pretty textbook with the surgery but I'm having a ton after I swallow. The pain radiates around my body and takes my breath away. Is this sill gas pains from surgery?I'm nervous. I try waking and drinking but it doesn't really help the pain.

Sounds like gas. Keep walking, and getting the gas out (attic or cellar)it will get better. A good bm will really help too probably

I was sleeved on Tuesday and just experienced this last night. I just got up and felt so much pain and bloating. TMI but I went to the bathroom and attempted to pass gas, I actually had my first bowel movements since pre op. I no longer feel bloated and majority of the pain is gone after being able to pass gas several times. Good luck to you.

I'm 4 days post opp. Went home the 2nd day & took gasalax. When I started passing gas I felt a lot better. Walking alone didn't help, I needed something to help me pass gas.

Does the pain come up the middle of your body into neck? I had that pain.. surgeon said there's a nerve that runs from diaphragm to your neck.. it eventually simmered down
