SURGERY IS SOO CLOSE

Hi everyone. My surgery is set for March 6th and I am getting super excited.. AND nervous. I start my pre-op diet on the 20th and I'm just wondering how that's going to go. What are good ways to combat any hunger pains?

What is your pre-op diet? I had to do 2 weeks of a 1000 calorie diet. I just kept myself busy and ate low calorie meals throughout the day. I actually didn't even eat 1000 calories most days.

I have to do a mostly liquid pre-op. Protein shakes, sugar free jello, soups. . . For 2 weeks. Then for the last 3 days, TOTAL CLEAR LIQUIDS with the clear protein drinks.

I WISH I just had to do under 1000 calories a day. That would be easier, I think.

My surgery date is March 8th. Starting pre-op diet February 22nd. I am horrified. I don't want to fail.
