Plateau before first fill???

I am at week 5 and will go for my fill next week. I have not lost weight in two and half weeks :cry . Is this normal? Am I just freaking out too early? Will I lose weight the week of my first fill? I know, I know, just a little nervous, but would like to hear opinions. :help: I am happy with my 20 pound weight loss, but would like it to keep going....

Is it normal? Yes!

Freakin' out too early? Yes!

Will you lose weight after your first fill? Most likely! If not right away, it won't be long.

You WILL keep losing! No worries :car:

Mandi

I was told last nights that I was worrying too soon. I was banded on the 4th of September and I have not been losing alot of weight. I think last week was .6 and I was getting discouraged. I haven't even had my first fill yet. What I realized is it took years to put this on and it is not going to go away in a month. We must be patient even though it is hard. I also lost 20 lbs at the beginning and my concern was I didn't want to gain that back. So far so good!!

Thanks for your help - it helps me realize that things are ok according to all you experts! You just dont know what to expect on this long journey..... I am also afraid that since I dont have any restriction right now, I dont want to go overboard..... :rolleyes
