  • Nope don't plan to do that. Wls resets your metabolism and given I ruined my metabolism the first time around with crash diets etc. I don't plan to repeat those mistake s again.

  • It is best just to stick to the plan and the stall will break. I am 28 months post op now and have thought about using the liquid diet simply to detox after the holidays however I am having plastic

I did it too. Remember shakes are sliders and your pouch is already used to holding something... So you will drop but then you will again adjust once food is introduced. I then started losing again!

anyone 3+ months out go back to protein shakes and full fluids to break a stall? i wanna break my stall and thinking of doing this for 2-3 days.

I am 28 months post op now and have thought about using the liquid diet simply to detox after the holidays however I am having plastics in a couple of weeks and they really don't want you to change your diet that close to surgery.

So, we will see what happens after that. I am guessing a few days of Protein shakes and cottage cheese type soft foods will reset me anyway.

Incidentally I still drink 1 Protein shake every day for my Breakfast but I have noticed that within an hour or so I am starving so once my recovery is over, I am planning on dropping the shakes and eating dense protein for breakfast. I cannot do eggs so I will have to find something that works better for me like lunch meat and cheese.

Snap 200.4 today too!
