question about burning sensation..

This morning I have had the most burning sensation. I don't think it's heartburn. It's not in my breastbone. It is several inches lower in the area of my stomach. It hurt this morning while I was getting ready and when i ate. Anyone had anything like this?

Also, if food is getting stuck often but you can eat more than a cup should you have a fill? My doctor said if I can eat more than one cup I need a fill, but food gets stuck often. I know some is user error but not all of it.

Thanks, I know this has probably been asked before, but I am at work and can't do a search right now. Thanks

I can't help you with the burning sensation, I have never heard of that - let us know if you find out any answers regarding what the problem is! But I have known someone who could eat a lot more than one cup but was having a hard time swallowing things. She found out there was something strange going on at the bottom of her esophagus, like it kind of poofed out or something.. it was different from esophageal dilation but I forget the name. She got another fill, and her doctor told her to be much more careful when chewing. Things have been better since then with the swallowing, but she still hasn't found her "sweet spot" with restriction. goodluck with everything!

I have the burning sensation too...it is a few inches below my port. I have heard that eventually it will go away.

I think it may be some nerve damage, but maybe it will heal itself. I am only 2 weeks po.
