3rd day post op

Pain isn't to bad , the worst is the gas but I'm walking every 4 hours and that is helping . I'm having a hard time figuring out how much to drink. I'm on a full liquid diet already and loving the apple sauce but afraid I will eat to much.

Congratulations on your surgery and the fact that you experience little pain.

Congrats on your surgery. I had to take small sips of Water throughout the day to get the minimum that my doctor recommended. As for the food, I had to take it slow and relearn the cues my body was giving me to tell me I had enough.

Sleeved 12/27. Pain mild at the big incision but tolerable. I have bad gurgling when I sip fluids or eat Jello, sometimes uncomfortable. I tried yogurt, and vomited, so it's too thick for me yet. I'm not getting enough fluids in and feel discouraged. Applesauce isn't on my list of foods until pureed next week, I'm jealous.
