They detected a small leak after 3 mths. It is where my esophagus and stomach are sewn together. I dont have any major pain or issues except eating solid foods. They out me onantibiotics for 2 weeks and tested the leak again. Its still there. Sense i dont have any symptoms they wont do anything. They think it will heal its self. Im nervous its not going ro heal. Should i trust my Dr?

I would be calling the dr pissed! I had surgery out of country and the guaranteed me for life if there was any issues that they would cover it for free.

Yup. When they removed the tumor, they removed my filter and my give a sh*t about other people's opinions of me.

Scared going in to surgery I read a lot about this. That's the spot most leaks happen. Even with over stitching, it's bc of the tightness and pressure in that area. And it's not really wait and see. I am sure your doc will monitor it very well, but the alternative is more invasive. I've read most leaks heal themselves.

Thats good to hear. I do know the operative alternatives are very intense and painful but i cant help being concerned it wont heal
